1.  The annual dues for the association are $250.  Additional associate memberships are $125 each.  The money raised from dues is used primarily to fund the lobbying effort and pay a lobbyist.  Dues are billed to all members and prospective members on January 1 of each year.

    2.  The board reserves the right to make additional assessments throughout the year as needed.  To date, that has not been necessary.

    3.  An annual meeting is held each year in late October.  At that time, officers are elected for the new year who take over on November 1.  The site for the annual meeting is rotated between Wichita, Topeka and Kansas City.  A mid-year meeting is held in June each year in Topeka to discuss the recently concluded legislative session, to make plans for the lobbying effort for the following year and make plans for the annual meeting.
